Here at Eventeny, we pride ourselves on our transparent pricing model. Plans start at as little as $60/mo, and you can even pay month-to-month. Also, there is no upfront fee, so you can hit the ground running planning your events.

Cvent's pricing is contact only.

Transaction Fees

Eventeny only charges transaction fees for the features you use, and it is always a flat 3% for all paid plans, so you won't be surprised.

Cvent isn't transparent on any transaction fees.

Event Creation Essentials

Event Creation

Eventeny includes unlimited event creation for all types: in-person, hybrid, and virtual. So, whether it's just one signature event or weekly events throughout the year, you'll be covered. Our pricing packages include all event creation essentials - no add-ons needed.

Cvent's event creation is labeled as "plan and promote", and is further broken down by venue management, event registration, content management, and exhibitor management, all priced differently depending on customer needs. To access all your event needs, as a Cvent customer, you'll likely need to purchase bundled plans, or individual add-ons.

Interactive Scheduling

Our scheduling feature lives within event creation, allowing users to drag and drop individual schedule elements. Users can customize scheduled items by color, group, and more, allowing event-goers to easily access a high-level view of your event. The scheduling feature is included with all of Eventeny’s plans.

Cvent’s exhibitor management portal covers scheduling for events. However, this is separately priced, and Cvent must be directly contacted for pricing and add-ons related to exhibitor management.

Maps and Booth Management

One of our most well-loved features, Mapping, is included with our Pro Plan. Our interactive mapping allows event organizers to create custom maps, custom seating charts, and allows tickets to be linked to individual sections or seats, that event-goers can easily purchase. Custom booth creation and booth assignment helps event organizers keep artists, vendors, and volunteer management streamlined.

Cvent’s offers event diagramming, but includes additional add-on costs. and doesn't include booth assignment. Booth management lives under their Exhibitor Management feature suite, separate from the mapping features Cvent offers.

Artist, Vendor, & Exhibitor Management

Application & Submission Management

Eventeny’s comprehensive artist, vendor, and exhibitor management services allows event organizers to create custom applications, manage large groups of vendors at once, assign vendors to booths, create contracts and manage documents, and more. AVE management tools are included in all pricing plans.

Cvent offers a majority of these services under their “Exhibitor Management” suite, and separately within their “Vendor Marketplace”, where event organizers can search for vendors for their events. However, these are separately priced.

Jury & Scoring

When an event organizer creates artist, vendor, or exhibitor applications on Eventeny’s platform, they can invite team members to act as a “jury”, scoring applications on factors the event organizer can set per application. These jury scores can help event organizers decide on vendors that best represent their event.

Cvent does not offer artist, vendor, and exhibitor jurying.

Virtual Marketplace

Eventeny created a virtual marketplace for your artists, vendors, and exhibitors so they can interact with your attendees. The marketplace is mobile-friendly, allows you to handle all payment processing and accounting, and boasts an industry-only shopping cart for your attendees. You can select to keep the marketplace active past your event date to help generate additional revenue.

Cvent does not offer a virtual marketplace for artists, vendors, and exhibitors.

Volunteer Management

Application & Submission Management

Eventeny's volunteer management system allows users to create applications, review submissions, make decisions, collect documents, and assign shifts and departments, all for an unlimited number of volunteers.

Cvent does not offer volunteer management, but does offer non-profit tailored event management, at a scaled cost.

Departments Management & Shift Scheduling

Volunteers can be assigned to different departments, so your department leaders can manage them. You can also schedule shifts with your volunteers and check them in/out for their assigned shifts.
